The Town of Southampton issues licenses and registrations through the License Review Board. Home improvement contractors, as determined by Southampton town code Chapter 143, are licensed to conduct business in Southampton. Persons licensed by Suffolk County to engage in plumbing and electrical work must have a valid license from the Suffolk County Office of Consumer Affairs and obtain a registration certificate from the Southampton Licensing Review Board to conduct business in Southampton.
